Since Tenoch's era, which happened prior to the creation of Mare Jivari, there have been six major tribes in Natlan;
-the Children of Echoes,
-People of the Springs,
-Scions of the Canopy,
-Collective of Plenty,
-Flower-Feather Clan
-and Masters of the Night-Wind.
Alongside humans, a large number of more younger dragons known as saurians reside in Natlan,
having undergone years of development and evolution, co-existing with humans.
Each tribe also has a specific saurian that they bond particularly well with than others
By the times of Tenoch and Vennessa, people of Natlan have been using obsidian and
metal ores respectively from the region, with the ores of Natlan having a "divine flame"
and quality above those of other regions, like Mondstadt. Ancient Natlan made use of
the Secret Source, some of which were made into automatons designed to react to use
of phlogiston. There are vehicles used in Natlan by some of its characters. Examples
include Kachina's Turbo Twirly, Chasca's flying gun, Mavuika's bike,
and Phlogiston Wings, a jetpack powered by phlogiston for propulsion.
The Nanatzcayan tribe are renowned miners, using various drills as part of their technology.
They are also "skilled appraisers of gems", jewellers and blacksmiths.
The Meztli tribe uses circular record discs with music and suitable, portable record players, artificial hot springs and several kinds of string and percussive instruments.
The Mictlan clan are known to weave scrolls to record historical events in Natlan.
Special scrolls are made for major events, with the weaver(s) being appointed by the elder Iktomisauri Tlapo.
The Tlalocan clan often use hot air balloons
to keep platforms up in the air at a reasonable distance from the
ground, but not too far for people to access.
